Easy difficulty is Ghost Babel with training wheels.

  • More resources spawn
  • Some bosses become easier
  • Snake is built like a tank, needing a ration is fairly unlikely.
  • Fewer guards and cameras
  • One of the awkward aspects of Easy is that Alerts and Evasions clear faster than other difficulties.
  • Guards without body armor die in 1 bullet, 2 bullets with body armor.
  • Guards without body armor will die immediately if you triple punch them.

Stage 05 & 06 Map by Eishiya

  • Throw the stun once you get to this line, the bottom of the crate along the tile line.

OR, save a stun for later and lose 16 frames here

  • It is faster by frames to hold down left at this screen transition
  • There is no guard at the basement elevator, so use a stun to open the doors.
  • Marionette Owl does not speed up after being shot the first time, requiring a different approach compared to higher difficulties.
  • Be careful of the shots from Marionette Owl and the Dolls, as the hitstun could prevent you from shooting him.
  • Marionette Owl's i-frames are about 1.5 seconds.
  • If you hit Osan, you'll see Marionette Owl fall as well, indicating his position among the dolls.
  • Timed properly, you can shoot early and let the travel time of the bullet land as i-frames end.
  • You can open the menu to keep better track of Owl (IGT ABUSE).
  • Don't neglect your health, use a ration if you take too many shots.
  • Choose your shots wisely, be surgical
  • Hold upleft and shoot (SHOT ONE)

  • Unlike higher difficulties, Marionette Owl moves slowly after being shot once. This has the bizarre side effect of making the rotation pattern random on Easy.
  • At the end of an attack pattern, Marionette Owl will return to the triangular pattern like the beginning of the fight. He can choose to go to any of the three points of the triangle.

Clockwise Wall (BEST)

  • A good pattern, Owl will rotate clockwise along the walls twice. He can choose to start this pattern in the middle of the room, but will stick to the walls once he gets there. This is probably the best pattern, as it is very slow and easy to follow. This pattern allows you to lead your shots (i.e. shoot before the i-frames are finished).

Clockwise Diagonal

  • A good pattern, but it is hard to draw. Owl will move diagonally, bouncing around the room in a clockwise pattern. This pattern can also start in the top left corner. He can move left at the top or right at the bottom before moving diagonally. This is a slow pattern (like the clockwise wall pattern), but be careful in leading your shots.

Short Path

  • A good pattern, however it is so short that Marionette Owl will return to the triangular pattern like the beginning of the fight.

White Squares Top/Bottom

  • A good pattern, Owl will stay along the top wall, stopping at white squares. At the end of the blue line, he will return to the triangular pattern like the beginning of the fight.

  • A good pattern, Owl will stay along the bottom wall, stopping at white squares. At the end of the yellow line, he will return to the triangular pattern like the beginning of the fight.

Stacking Dolls (BAD)

  • The bad pattern, where Marionette Owl stacks with the dolls by the top door, and then moves linearly with them. They will snake around the room. He can be in any position in the line. Be very careful with your shots, as it is easy to accidentally hit a doll in this pattern. IGT Abuse recommended if this pattern happens.
