In New Game your aim is to collect and buy as few unique items and weapons as possible in order to simplify menuing and reduce time loss from menu & memo screens, the minimal amount of must collect items are listed below.\\

Some items are only better or worth picking up in a Rank 1 (Big Boss etc.) run and are donated as such.\\
Note: for the purpose of Any% runs, it is assumed the player will be using the code 14893 during act 4, thus requiring only 60,000 DP (100,000 if not on sale). Also, some Rank 1 and Optional items may be required on BBH/TBE for points.\\
