Isn't this just Metal Gear Online? What's there to speedrun?
Yes and no. While MGAC at its core is just an Arcade-tweaked version of MGS4's MGO, it also features close to 50 additional missions, most of which can be completed Solo.
15 missions can be tackled with up to 4 players in the now fully working Co-Op mode!

Is this game online-only?
Yes (if you want to save your progress). As of August 2023, the game's network infrastructure has been completely reverse-engineered.
Current builds will connect to community servers maintained by Zoft from the SaveMGO team.

Which control type should I choose?
If you're playing on a regular PC setup, choose Gun-type Controls.

How do I turn off/adjust the 3D effect?
Press the START Button while on a mission.

Where do you change other ingame settings?
Settings can be accessed either from the Customize menu or by holding the TOP Button for 3 seconds while ingame.

What are the ingame settings about?
You can tweak your Camera Rotation's Input Range (1-10), CR's Travel Speed (1-10) & Voice Chat Volume (Off-4).

Any other SpiceTools settings I should know about? (@ Metal Gear dropdown menu)
Depending on your display setup, the “Lock Cursor to Window” option can be of use. Though, it might complicate clicking menu buttons in the outer corners of the screen.

How do I reset my progress in order to start a new New Game run?
Simply generate a new Card ID from within SpiceTools and go through the account/character creation process again.

Why not just play from a Guest Account for NG runs?
While it is technically okay, you run the (currently fairly high) risk of the game crashing during your run, thus losing you all your progress.

How to skip cutscenes/speed up some menu animations?
Press the START Button.

What does ranking up do?
Ranking up unlocks the eligibility to buy better weapons & outfit parts.
Additionally, you'll unlock some Vs. Mode-only benefits such as having access to the Threat Ring.

The game won't start up/gives me a red error message!
SpiceTools can be quite finnicky, depending on various factors related to your current setup.
Most likely, the error is related to your audio devices and can be fixed by changing your primary audio output or any similar tweaking.
If that doesn't help, signing out and back in or restarting your PC will almost always do the trick.

My game keeps crashing after completing a mission!
Unfortunately, there's nothing to be done about these at the moment. The cause of the post-Results crashes are still a mystery.
Some day you're able to complete 50 missions without any trouble, while on particularly unlucky days you might see crashes every few missions.
